Halothane Sensitivity in Replicate Mouse Lines Selected for Diazepam Sensitivity or Resistance
Anesthesia & Analgesia, 1994 We have previously shown that mice selected for sensitivity to diazepam are also more sensitive to halothane, and that halothane augments the gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA)-mediated chloride flux response in brain tissue from diazepam-sensitive (DS) mice to a greater degree than in diazepam-resistant (DR) mice.

High Sensitivity On-Line Monitor for Radioactive Effluent [PDF]
Journal of Nuclear Science and Technology, 1983 A new approach for a highly sensitive effluent monitor is presented. The free flow type monitor, which consists of a straightener, nozzle, monitoring section and γ-ray detector, is demonstrated to be effective in providing long term stability. The 160 start-and-stop cycles of effluent discharge were repeated in a 120-h testing period.

International Journal of Hyperthermia, 1990 Heat sensitization to cisplatin was studied in drug-sensitive Chinese hamster fibroblast (CH) and inherently drug-resistant hamster kidney (HaK) cells. Under normothermic conditions the slopes of the survival curves differed by a factor of 3.6, while the cellular uptake was higher in CH cells by a factor of 3.
