A Different Method to Determine the Gamma-ray Linear Attenuation Coefficient
Gamma-ray linear attenuation coefficient values of Pb, Fe, and Al absorber materials were investigated. A fast coincidence timing measurement spectrometer was used for this purpose differently from other traditional spectrometers. A solid point 22Na positron source was utilized for the annihilation radiations.

Effects of air pressure changes on gamma linear attenuation coefficient in the air
The measurements of gamma linear attenuation coefficient in the air at variance air pressure has been done. The measurements were performed to determine the effects of air pressure changes on gamma linear attenuation coefficient in the air. The measurements were used Co-60 as the gamma radiation source and LND 72 Geiger-Muller as the radiation detector

Chemical corrosion on gamma-ray attenuation properties of barite concrete
The variation of photon attenuation coefficient on the chemical media has been investigated. For this purposes the linear attenuations of barite concrete have been measured at 662, 1773 and 1332 keV before leaving the chemical media and following a 6 ...
