For the extended mixed linear complementarity problem (EML CP), we first present the characterization of the solution set for the EMLCP. Based on this, its global error bound is also established under milder conditions. The results obtained in this paper

Reformulations of mathematical programming problems as linear complementarity problems [PDF]
A family of complementarity problems are defined as extensions of the well known Linear Complementarity Problem (LCP). These are (i.) Second Linear Complementarity Problem (SLCP) which is an LCP extended by introducing further equality restrictions and ...

ABSTRACT Neuroblastoma is the most common extracranial solid tumor in early childhood. Its clinical behavior is highly variable, ranging from spontaneous regression to fatal outcome despite intensive treatment. The International Society of Pediatric Oncology Europe Neuroblastoma Group (SIOPEN) Radiology and Nuclear Medicine Specialty Committees ...

A new error bound for linear complementarity problems for B-matrices [PDF]
A new error bound for the linear complementarity problem is given when the involved matrix is a B-matrix. It is shown that this bound is sharper than some previous bounds [C.Q. Li, Y.T. Li.

Organoids in pediatric cancer research
Organoid technology has revolutionized cancer research, yet its application in pediatric oncology remains limited. Recent advances have enabled the development of pediatric tumor organoids, offering new insights into disease biology, treatment response, and interactions with the tumor microenvironment.

An enumerative method for the solution of linear complementarity problems [PDF]
In this report an enumerative method for the solution of the Linear Complementarity Problem (LCP) is presented. This algorithm completely processes the LCP, and does not require any particular property of the LCP to apply.

Cell wall target fragment discovery using a low‐cost, minimal fragment library
LoCoFrag100 is a fragment library made up of 100 different compounds. Similarity between the fragments is minimized and 10 different fragments are mixed into a single cocktail, which is soaked to protein crystals. These crystals are analysed by X‐ray crystallography, revealing the binding modes of the bound fragment ligands.

By using a new search direction, we propose an infeasible interior-point method for monotone linear complementarity problem. The algorithm uses only one feasibility step in each iteration, and we prove that it suffices in order to obtain a polynomial ...

Combining PTEN protein assessment and transcriptomic profiling of prostate tumors, we uncovered a network enriched in senescence and extracellular matrix (ECM) programs associated with PTEN loss and conserved in a mouse model. We show that PTEN‐deficient cells trigger paracrine remodeling of the surrounding stroma and this information could help ...
