The role of miR‐335‐5p in the redifferentiation of BRAF p.V600E thyroid cancers

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The BRAF p.V600E mutation promotes thyroid cancer dedifferentiation and radioiodine resistance. Using a network approach, we identified miR‐335‐5p as a key regulator of BRAF‐mutated thyroid tumors. Restoring miR‐335‐5p increased thyroid‐specific gene expression and iodine uptake in cells and organoids.

Conjugate reversibility in complex special linear groups

open access: yesPeriodica Mathematica Hungarica
We introduce and study conjugate reversibility (or $c$-reversibility) in the complex special linear group $\SL(n,\C)$ where an element is conjugate to the inverse of its complex conjugate. We prove that in $\SL(n, \C)$, every $c$-reversible element is strongly $c$-reversible.

The Entropy of Co-Compact Open Covers

open access: yesEntropy, 2013
Co-compact entropy is introduced as an invariant of topological conjugation for perfect mappings defined on any Hausdorff space (compactness and metrizability are not necessarily required).

TRAIL‐PEG‐Apt‐PLGA nanosystem as an aptamer‐targeted drug delivery system potential for triple‐negative breast cancer therapy using in vivo mouse model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

ON THE SOLUTION OF THE HOMOGENEOUS LINEAR CONJUGATION PROBLEM WITH SINGULARITIES OF NONINTEGER ORDER [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
In this article, we deal with the homogeneous problem of the linear conjugation in the exceptional case (with singularities of noninteger order) on the real axis.

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

CONJUGATE POINTS OF SECOND-ORDER LINEAR DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, 1969
The paper of which the present article is itself an abstract is concerned with locating zeros of nonnull solutions of differential systems of the formcplx=fwhere r (x) and p (x) are continous and r (x) is positive for x ≥ a. When r (x) = 1 and

A conjugation problem for the heat equation in the field where the boundary moves in linear order

open access: yesҚарағанды университетінің хабаршысы. Математика сериясы, 2019
A well - known analogy of the flow of viscous incompressible fluid and incompressible elastic medium. According to this analogy, the solution of the equations of the elasticity theory with the Poisson’s ratio v = 0, 5 and for any fixed shear modulus µ ...

Circular RNA expression landscapes in myelodysplastic neoplasms: Associations with mutational signatures and disease progression

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In this explorative study, the abundance of circular RNA molecules in bone marrow stem cells was found to be elevated in patients with high‐risk myelodysplastic neoplasms, and to be associated with an increased risk of progression to acute myeloid leukemia.
