Linear Polytope Control Systems

2016
A class of differential inclusion systems – the linear polytope systems – is discussed in this chapter. This kind of system can be viewed as another extension of the linear control systems to the set-valued mappings. This chapter contains four sections.

Controllable and Autonomous nD Linear Systems

Multidimensional Systems and Signal Processing, 1999
Using the behavioural approach and commutative algebra some results on autonomous and controllable discrete systems are generalized from the 2D to the nD case. A simple algebraic characterization of autonomous systems and of the structure of the controllable autonomous decomposition is presented.

Controllability of Linear Systems

2016
We study the controllability of linear systems–the existence of processes and their construction according with specified conditions on the ends of a trajectory. The criteria of point-to-point and complete controllability are established. We investigate the features for non-controllability of the systems.

REINFORCEMENT LINEARIZATION CONTROL SYSTEM

Cybernetics and Systems, 2000
The objective of the article is to provide an effective linearization control approach for a nonlinear system. Three reinforcement back propagation learning algorithms (RBPs), based on different step-ahead predictions, are proposed to build the affine linear model of a nonlinear system by means of a composed neural network structure.

Linear Control System Design

2008
In this chapter a review of the design of multivariable feedback controllers for linear systems will be considered. This review treats mainly deterministic control objects with deterministic disturbances. After giving an overview of the type of linear systems to be treated, this chapter will handle the basic control system design method known as pole ...

Positive Linear Control Systems

2020
This chapter is devoted to the analysis of the positive dynamical linear continuous-time and discrete-time systems. The basic definitions and theorems concerning positivity and stability of the standard and descriptor (singular) linear systems described by the state equation and transfer matrices are given.

Control of Linear Systems

2002
This Chapter constitutes an introduction to the domain of control of linear systems. It was mostly inspired by [3], [63], the introduction and survey given in [83] where the techniques relevant to linear algebra can be found, and the article on control theory in [49, vol. 1, art. 86].
