Linear magnetochiral effect in Weyl semimetals [PDF]
Physical Review B, 2016 We suggest the possibility of a linear magnetochiral effect in time reversal breaking Weyl semimetals. Generically the magnetochiral effect consists in a simultaneous linear dependence of the magnetotransport coefficients with the magnetic field and a momentum vector.

FEBS Letters, EarlyView.This study reveals how the mitochondrial protein Slm35 is regulated in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The authors identify stress‐responsive DNA elements and two upstream open reading frames (uORFs) in the 5′ untranslated region of SLM35. One uORF restricts translation, and its mutation increases Slm35 protein levels and mitophagy.

Noise Effect on Linear Spectral Unmixing
Annals of GIS, 1999 Abstract Using hyperspectral reflectance data collected from six types of surface covers, we synthesized linear mixtures and used them to test the sensitivity of two linear unmixing algorithms to simulated additive noise. We found both algorithms were highly sensitive to noise. This may considerably limit their use in remote sensing.
