Generalized linear porokeratosis
International Journal of Dermatology, 2006A 23‐year‐old woman was seen for widespread skin lesions present since the age of 2.5 years. Twenty years ago, she developed a brown macular lesion on her right buttock. The lesion became hyperkeratotic and subsequently spread through the posterior aspect of her right leg. It later spread to the right side of the trunk and to the right arm.

We present a General Linear Camera (GLC) model that unifies many previous camera models into a single representation. The GLC model is capable of describing all perspective (pinhole), orthographic, and many multiperspective (including pushbroom and two-slit) cameras, as well as epipolar plane images. It also includes three new and previously unexplored

This article provides an introduction into the statistical analysis of neuroimaging data using the general linear model. The analysis allows a flexible use of various models offering a wide range of statistical tests for the analysis of typical neuroimaging experiments. A short introduction to the general linear model is provided using simple examples.

Generalized Semiaffine linear spaces
Ricerche di Matematica, 2016In this paper, the authors introduce the notion of ``generalized $T$-semiaffine spaces''. More precisely, let $T$ be a set of natural numbers, and let $S$ be a linear space admitting a finite dimension $n$ (many linear spaces do not admit a dimension) in the sense of \textit{F. Buekenhout} [J. Comb. Theory, Ser.

Linear Orders on General Algebras
Order, 2005A characterization of partially ordered algebraic structures \((A,F,r)\) having a compatible linear extension of \(r\) is given. As a consequence, it is proved that a partial order \(r\) can be linearly extended if and only if it can be extended on every finitely generated subalgebra. A few further results are obtained.

This chapter presents the general linear model as an extension to the two-sample t-test, analysis of variance (ANOVA), and linear regression. We illustrate the general linear model using two-way ANOVA as a prime example. The underlying principle of ANOVA, which is based on the decomposition of the value of an observed variable into grand mean, group ...

New Generation Computing, 1987
The paper deals with the intuitive linearity concept and its weak points. This concept is commonly used at plan generation using theorem proving in which deduction of a goal statement is proved from the initial situation and rules describing the actions.
