Protein pyrophosphorylation by inositol pyrophosphates — detection, function, and regulation

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Protein pyrophosphorylation is an unusual signaling mechanism that was discovered two decades ago. It can be driven by inositol pyrophosphate messengers and influences various cellular processes. Herein, we summarize the research progress and challenges of this field, covering pathways found to be regulated by this posttranslational modification as ...

Localized direct segregated boundary-domain integral equations for variable-coefficient transmission problems with interface crack [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
The full text of the published article can be accessed at the link belowSome transmission problems for scalar second order elliptic partial differential equations are considered in a bounded composite domain consisting of adjacent anisotropic subdomains ...

The (Glg)ABCs of cyanobacteria: modelling of glycogen synthesis and functional divergence of glycogen synthases in Synechocystis sp. PCC 6803

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

On asymptotic behaviour at infinity and the finite section for integral equations on the half-line [PDF]

open access: yes, 1994
We consider integral equations on the half-line of the form and the finite section approximation to x obtained by replacing the infinite limit of integration by the finite limit β.

Linear Operators and Equations with Partial Integrals

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Sciences, 2019
We consider linear operators and equations with partial integrals in Banach ideal spaces, spaces of vector functions, and spaces of continuous functions. We study the action, regularity, duality, algebras, Fredholm properties, invertibility, and spectral properties of such operators.

Organ‐specific redox imbalances in spinal muscular atrophy mice are partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotides

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We identified a systemic, progressive loss of protein S‐glutathionylation—detected by nonreducing western blotting—alongside dysregulation of glutathione‐cycle enzymes in both neuronal and peripheral tissues of Taiwanese SMA mice. These alterations were partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotide therapy, revealing persistent redox imbalance as ...

Perturbed conformal field theory, nonlinear integral equations and spectral problems [PDF]

open access: yes, 2000
This thesis is concerned with various aspects of perturbed conformal field theory and the methods used to calculate finite-size effects of integrable quantum field theories.

Asymptotic Integration of Linear Differential Equations

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications, 1997
The authors establish a new result on the asymptotic integration of linear differential equations of the form \(y'=(\Lambda+R)y\), where \(\Lambda\) is diagonal and \(R\) ist small. The result lies between the basic theorems of Levinson and of Hartman-Wintner [see, for example, \textit{M. S. P. Eastham} and \textit{C. G. M. Grudniewicz}, J. Lond. Math.
