Smooth perturbations in ordered Banach spaces and similarity for the linear transport operators
A new method for establishing a similarity for a pair of linear operators in an ordered Banach space is discussed. The author considers a pair of (in general unbounded) linear operators \(B_ 1\) and \(B_ 2=B_ 1+A\) with A a bounded operator, and assumes that both \(-B_ 1\) and \(-B_ 2\) generate bounded \(C_ 0\)-groups in the Banach space.

This study explores a liver disease called MASLD, which is increasing worldwide and can lead to serious damage. Researchers used medaka fish instead of rodents to test a food compound, γ‐oryzanol. Fish fed this compound had less liver fat and healthier gut bacteria.

On B † - Splitting of Bounded Linear Operators on Ordered Hilbert space
Abstract We discuss a subclass of a positive splitting called B † −splitting of bounded linear operator over ordered Hilbert spaces. The necessary conditions for the existence of such splitting is discussed by assuming the nonnegativity of Moore-Penrose inverse of operators. We refor-mulate a method to construct B † − splitting.

Biophysical characterisation shows that NanX, a membrane transport protein from the major facilitator superfamily (MFS), forms both monomers and dimers after purification. AlphaFold modelling and substrate docking provide information on residues likely involved in substrate recognition for NanX and another MFS member, NanT.
