Stabilization of linear parameter varying systems

Proceedings of 32nd IEEE Conference on Decision and Control, 2002
Reviews two existing methods for stabilization: small-gain input/output methods and high-gain state space methods. The authors further investigate these methods in the context of possible conservatism and robustness properties. The authors then suggest possible alternative structures for linear parameter varying systems stabilization.

Approximation of linear parameter-varying systems

Proceedings of 35th IEEE Conference on Decision and Control, 2002
Two well known LTI approximation methods-balanced truncation and optimal Hankel norm approximation-are extended to the LPV framework. Quadratic stability of the approximants and generalisations of known LTI error bounds are examined. The concept of the graph operator of an LPV system is discussed.

The Behavioral Approach to Linear Parameter-Varying Systems

IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control, 2011
Linear parameter-varying (LPV) systems are usually described in either state-space or input-output form. When analyzing system equivalence between different representations it appears that the time-shifted versions of the scheduling signal (dynamic dependence) need to be taken into account.
