Linear Parameter Varying control of a quadrotor
2011 6th International Conference on Industrial and Information Systems, 2011This paper describes a Linear Parameter Varying (LPV) controller design for a quadrotor vehicle. The controller synthesis requires the LPV plant model which is obtained by linearisation of the modelling equations, to be in an affine form. However, the LPV representation of the quadrotor dynamic is not affine; hence it has been transformed into to a ...

H−/L∞ fault detection observer for linear parameter‐varying systems with parametric uncertainty
International Journal of Robust and Nonlinear Control, 2019This paper considers H−/L∞ fault detection for discrete‐time linear parameter‐varying (LPV) systems with parametric uncertainty. In H−/L∞ fault detection scheme, residual generation and threshold computation are simultaneously designed.

Linear parameter-varying descriptions of nonlinear systems
Proceedings of the 2004 American Control Conference, 2004Recent methods for gain scheduling controller design based on linear parameter-varying (LPV) systems offer a systematic way to obtain a nonlinear controller. However, the non-unique LPV description of the nonlinear system is essential for the performance of the design. In this paper, two approaches to obtain LPV descriptions are presented.

Linear Parameter-Varying System Identification: The Subspace Approach
2012In the past two decades, a significant amount of research has been carried out on Linear Parameter-Varying (LPV) systems. It has been shown that LTI control synthesis techniques like optimal and robust control can be extended to the LPV case. Notwithstanding the advances in LPV control, the identification of such systems is still not completely ...

Analysis of hybrid linear parameter-varying systems
Proceedings of the 2003 American Control Conference, 2003., 2004This paper proposes a new hybrid linear parameter-varying (LPV) systems and investigates some characteristics of these systems. A hybrid LPV system is defined by a ser of LPV systems and average dwell-time as a model of discrete event dynamics. This system encompasses typical LPV systems and emerging hybrid systems such as reconfigurable flight control.

Fault diagnosis of linear parameter varying systems
2015 International Conference on Innovations in Information, Embedded and Communication Systems (ICIIECS), 2015In this paper the fault tolerant control for the linear parameter varying systems is proposed with the motivation to reconfigure the control loop without retuning the nominal controller. The active fault tolerant control strategy is used in which the virtual actuator and virtual sensor blocks are added to the nominal control loop that will mask the ...

Switched linear parameter-varying modeling and tracking control for flexible hypersonic vehicle
, 2019In this paper, the reference tracking problem for a class of flexible hypersonic vehicles, whose dynamics vary significantly as flight states changes, is investigated via a novel switched linear parameter-varying (LPV) framework.
