New Refinement of the Operator Kantorovich Inequality
We focus on the improvement of operator Kantorovich type inequalities. Among the consequences, we improve the main result of the paper [H.R. Moradi, I.H. Gümüş, Z.

Remarks on an operator Wielandt inequality
Let $A$ be a positive operator on a Hilbert space $\mathcal{H}$ with $00.$$ We consider several upper bounds for $\frac{1}{2}|\Gamma+\Gamma^{*}|$.

A stop over Jain operators and their generalizations
On the last five decades the interest of the study of positive approximation processes have emerged with growing evidence. A special place is occupied by the in-depth study of classical operators.

Sector operator inequalities involving positive linear maps
In this note, we prove the pth power ( p ≥ 2 $p\geq 2$ ) of two new sector operator inequalities for positive linear maps which are due to Bedrani et al. (Positivity 25:1601-1629, 2021) and Nasiri (Filomat 38:3429-3438, 2024), respectively.

Calculation of the Hidden Symmetry Operator for a $\cP\cT$-Symmetric Square Well
It has been shown that a Hamiltonian with an unbroken $\cP\cT$ symmetry also possesses a hidden symmetry that is represented by the linear operator $\cC$.

ABSTRACT Background Oral mucositis is a common and debilitating side effect of childhood cancer and stem cell transplant treatments. It affects the quality of life of children and young people (CYP) and places a strain on services. Photobiomodulation is recommended for oral mucositis prevention in international guidance but is poorly implemented in UK ...

Clinical Insights Into Hypercalcemia of Malignancy in Childhood
ABSTRACT Hypercalcemia of malignancy (HCM) is a rare but life‐threatening metabolic emergency in children that occurs in less than 1% of pediatric cancer cases, with a reported incidence ranging from 0.4% to 1.0% across different studies. While it is observed in 10%–20% of adult malignancies, pediatric HCM remains relatively uncommon.

ABSTRACT Background Kaposiform lymphangiomatosis (KLA) is an aggressive complex lymphatic anomaly. Patients exhibit malformed lymphatic vessels and often develop hemorrhagic effusions and elevated angiopoietin‐2 (Ang‐2) levels. A somatic NRAS p.Q61R (NRASQ61R) mutation has been associated with KLA.

Classical and nonclassical randomness in quantum measurements
The space of positive operator-valued measures on the Borel sets of a compact (or even locally compact) Hausdorff space with values in the algebra of linear operators acting on a d-dimensional Hilbert space is studied from the perspectives of classical ...
