Reverses of Young and Heinz inequalities for positive linear operators
Let A, B be invertible positive operators on a Hilbert space H. We present some improved reverses of Young type inequalities, in particular, ( 1 − ν ) 2 ν ( A ∇ B ) + ( 1 − ν ) 2 ( 1 − ν ) H 2 ν ( A , B ) ≥ 2 ( 1 − ν ) ( A ♯ B ) $$ (1-\nu)^{2\nu}(A\nabla

EXOSC10, an essential nuclear RNA exosome‐associated 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease, is inhibited by the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil (5‐FU), and EXOSC10 depletion increases 5‐FU sensitivity. The colon‐cancer variant EXOSC10S402T, located in a proteolysis motif, is stable and nuclear but nonfunctional in vivo.

NKCC1: A key regulator of glioblastoma progression
Glioblastoma (GBM) progression is driven by disrupted chloride cotransporter homeostasis. NKCC1 is highly expressed in stem‐like, astrocytic, and progenitor cells, correlating with earlier recurrence, while overall survival remains unaffected. NKCC1 serves as a prognostic marker and potential therapeutic target, linking chloride transporter imbalance ...

On unitarily invariant norms of matrix-valued linear positive operators
In this paper we prove several inequalities concerning invariant norms of matrices belonging to the range of some matrix-valued Linear Positive Operator (LPO).

Preservers for the p-Norm of Linear Combinations of Positive Operators
We describe the structure of those transformations on certain sets of positive operators which preserve the p-norm of linear combinations with given nonzero real coefficients. These sets are the collection of all positive pth Schatten-class operators and

Insights into a long life without cancer: The case of the bowhead whale
Long‐lived, large‐bodied organisms have evolved powerful anticancer mechanisms that preserve cellular and tissue integrity across extended lifespans. A recent study by Firsanov et al. shows that greater genome stability is a key factor underlying the remarkable longevity and cancer resistance of one such species, the bowhead whale.

A Generalization of Lacunary Equistatistical Convergence of Positive Linear Operators
In this paper we consider some analogs of the Korovkin approximation theorem via lacunary equistatistical convergence. In particular we study lacunary equi-statistical convergence of approximating operators on spaces, the spaces of all real valued ...

On summability and positive linear operators
AbstractQuantitative estimates for approximation by positive linear operators are obtained with the use of a summability method which includes both convergence and almost convergence.
