Distance structures for $ \Phi$-Normed Linear Space [PDF]

open access: yesSahand Communications in Mathematical Analysis
In this paper, we choose an approach to generalize the idea  of usual norm keeping up  analogous structure and introduce a  generalized norm, called  $ \Phi $-norm using a  function $ \Phi $ which satisfies some special condition.

Deep Space Network Scheduling via Mixed-Integer Linear Programming

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2021
NASA’s Deep Space Network (DSN) is a globally-spanning communications network responsible for supporting the interplanetary spacecraft missions of NASA and other international users. The DSN is a highly utilized asset, and the large demand for its&

Lagrangian Perspectives on the Small-scale Structure of Alfvénic Turbulence and Stochastic Models for the Dispersion of Fluid Particles and Magnetic Field Lines in the Solar Wind

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal Supplement Series
Lagrangian perspectives on the small-scale structure of anisotropic Alfvénic turbulence are adopted. We are interested in relating the statistical properties of the Eulerian field increments evaluated along the fluid particle trajectories, in the ...

A Space Decomposition-Based Deterministic Algorithm for Solving Linear Optimization Problems

open access: yesAxioms, 2019
This document introduces a method to solve linear optimization problems. The method’s strategy is based on the bounding condition that each constraint exerts over the dimensions of the problem.

Strict Convexity and Uniform Convexity in Linear 2-normed Spaces

open access: yesJournal of Harbin University of Science and Technology, 2021
Linear 2-normed space is a generalization of linear normed space, which defines a more extensive norm. In this paper, we get contraction mapping theorem in linear 2-normed space holds, and the set of fixed points for nonexpansive mapping is convex when ...

Effects of the Fluid Replacement Method During Online Hemodiafiltration on the Solute Removal Performance and Biocompatibility Using the Asymmetric Cellulose Triacetate Membrane

open access: yesTherapeutic Apheresis and Dialysis, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Introduction Pre‐dilution online hemodiafiltration (Pre‐HDF) is predominantly used in Japan, whereas post‐dilution online HDF (Post‐HDF) is more common in Europe. An asymmetric cellulose triacetate (ATA) membrane may improve biocompatibility.

Alfvén waves in the solar corona: resonance velocity, damping length, and charged particles acceleration by kinetic Alfvén waves

open access: yesScientific Reports
Recent advances in heliospheric exploration spurred by NASA’s Parker Solar Probe (PSP) mission require a deeper understanding of the intricate dynamics of the solar corona and wind. This study provides a detailed examination of kinetic Alfvén waves (KAWs)

Organoids in pediatric cancer research

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Organoid technology has revolutionized cancer research, yet its application in pediatric oncology remains limited. Recent advances have enabled the development of pediatric tumor organoids, offering new insights into disease biology, treatment response, and interactions with the tumor microenvironment.

Fuzzy n-normed linear space

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 2005
The primary purpose of this paper is to introduce the notion of fuzzy n-normed linear space as a generalization of n-normed space. Ascending family of α-n-norms corresponding to fuzzy n-norm is introduced. Best approximation sets in α-n-norms are defined.

Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.
