Diagnostics of Linear Systems in the State Space [PDF]

open access: yesProblems of the Regional Energetics, 2019
The analysis of the state of the problem of quality ensurance and proper functioning of electri-cal systems and devices was carried out. It showed that not only the complete feasibility of monitoring their performance at the production and operation ...

Infinite linear spaces

open access: yesDiscrete Mathematics, 1994
While counting is the main tool in the theory of finite linear spaces in the infinite case free constructions and transfinite induction are used. Some well-known results are generalized in the paper under review: There exist free incidence structures of any infinite cardinality with the property that any \(t\) points lie in exactly \(\lambda\) blocks ...

Linear transformations on Grassman spaces [PDF]

open access: yesPacific Journal of Mathematics, 1964
1. Let U denote an n-dimensional vector space over a field F and let Gnr denote the set of non-zero decomposable r-vectors of the Grassmann product space ΛrU. Let T be a linear transformation of ΛrU into itself which maps Gnr into itself. If F is algebraically closed, or if T is non-singular, then the structure of T is known. In this paper we show that

Spatiotemporal and quantitative analyses of phosphoinositides – fluorescent probe—and mass spectrometry‐based approaches

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Fluorescent probes allow dynamic visualization of phosphoinositides in living cells (left), whereas mass spectrometry provides high‐sensitivity, isomer‐resolved quantitation (right). Their synergistic use captures complementary aspects of lipid signaling. This review illustrates how these approaches reveal the spatiotemporal regulation and quantitative

Investigating the Role of Inward Alfvén Waves and Structures in the Slow Solar Wind

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal
The solar wind dynamics are thought to be governed by counter-propagating Alfvén waves. Alfvén waves generate a turbulent cascade through nonlinear couplings between shearing wave packets. However, imbalances, structures, and intermittency complicate the

Matrix-Based Computation in Informatics: A Conceptual Review of Linear Algebra Applications

open access: yesJurnal Ilmiah Informatika dan Komputer
Linear algebra and matrices play a critical role in informatics, especially in understanding multidimensional data and computational processes. This study aims to explore the fundamental concepts and practical applications of linear algebra and matrices ...

Tropical Linear Spaces

open access: yesSIAM Journal on Discrete Mathematics, 2008
We define tropical analogues of the notions of linear space and Plucker coordinate and study their combinatorics. We introduce tropical analogues of intersection and dualization and define a tropical linear space built by repeated dualization and transverse intersection to be constructible.

Transferrin receptor 1‐mediated iron uptake supports thermogenic activation in human cervical‐derived adipocytes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

The planar cell polarity protein Vangl2 interacts with the PDZ‐domains of Scribble but not with a unique PDZ‐like domain in Inturned

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Structural and biochemical characterisations show that the planar cell polarity (PCP) protein Inturned harbours a unique PDZ‐like domain that does not bind canonical PDZ‐binding motifs (PBMs) like that of another PCP protein Vangl2. In contrast, the apical‐basal polarity protein Scribble contains four PDZ domains that bind Vangl2, but one PDZ domain ...

Δ-MILP: Deep Space Network Scheduling via Mixed-Integer Linear Programming

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2022
This paper introduces $\Delta $ -MILP, a powerful variant of the mixed-integer linear programming (MILP) optimization framework to solve NASA’s Deep Space Network (DSN) scheduling problem. This work is an extension of our original MILP framework (
