Interpolation of Linear Operators on Sobolev Spaces
The Annals of Mathematics, 1979We are interested in the interpolation of linear operators defined on Sobolev spaces Wk = Wk(Q), 1 ? p ? oo. In particular, there is the question ([11]) whether Wk, 1 < p < o0, is an interpolation space between W1k and W!. We will answer this question affirmatively and actually do much more since we can characterize the Peetre K-functional for ...

Basics of Hilbert Space and Linear Operators
1991Show that a finite set {x1,..., x n } of n vectors in a Hilbert space H is linearly independent if and only if the n × n matrix that has 〈x j , x k 〉in the (j, k) position is non-singular.

HOLOMORPHIC FAMILIES OF LINEAR OPERATORS IN BANACH SPACES
SUT Journal of Mathematics, 1997Summary: Given two closed linear operators \(T\) and \(A\) in a Banach space, a sufficient condition is presented for the family \(\{T(\kappa);\text{ Re }\kappa> a\}= \{T+\kappa A;\text{ Re }\kappa> a\}\), \(a\in\mathbb{R}\), to be holomorphic of type (A).

ROUGH IDEAL CONVERGENT SEQUENCE SPACES OF BOUNDED LINEAR OPERATORS
South East Asian Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 2023In this paper, using the concept of rough ideal convergence in normedlinear spaces, we introduce rough ideal convergence for bounded linear operators. We also introduce some rough ideal convergent sequence spaces of bounded linearoperators and further investigate and study some inclusion relations of these spaces, decomposition theorem and algebraic ...

Representation of certain Linear Operators in Hilbert Space
Canadian Journal of Mathematics, 1971In this paper we represent certain linear operators in a space with indefinite metric. Such a space may be a pair ( H, B ), where H is a separable Hilbert space, B is a bilinear functional on H

Interpolation of linear operators in Orlicz spaces
Functional Analysis and Its Applications, 1988In this short note there are considered Orlicz spaces \(L^*_{\phi}(\Omega,\mu)\) defined for a given N-function \(\phi\) \((\phi \approx u^ p ...

Best Approximation of Linear Operators in Hilbert Spaces
SIAM Journal on Numerical Analysis, 1968Verf. hat in [J. Math. Anal. Appl.

Robust Stability of Linear Evolution Operators on Banach Spaces
SIAM Journal on Control and Optimization, 1994This paper introduces a stability radius for a wide class of linear infinite-dimensional time-varying systems under structured time-varying perturbations. A framework is presented that allows the same degree of unboundedness in the perturbations as in the generator of the nominal model.
