We identify USP29 as the only DUB mirroring CA9 expression, a marker of hypoxia and HIF pathway activation associated with PCA aggressiveness. USP29 stabilizes HIF‐1α and HIF‐2α via a noncanonical mechanism that is independent of PHD/pVHL activity yet relies on proteasomal regulation, establishing USP29 as a previously unrecognized regulator of hypoxic

Error-feedback for amplifier linearization
A novel general linearization topology called `Error-Feedback' is presented and applied to the linearization of amplifiers. Error-Feedback uses the difference/error between (linearly) scaled input and output signal in its feedback loop to reduce non ...

Linear Characters of Finite Linear Groups
Let \(V\) be a vector space of dimension \(n\) over the field \(\mathbb{F}_q\) of order \(q\), let \(G\) be a subgroup of \(\text{GL}(V)\), and let \(Y\) be a \(G\)-invariant subset of the set \({\mathcal P}(V)\) of \(1\)-spaces of \(V\). The author defines an \(\mathbb{F}_q^*\)-valued linear character \(\delta_Y\) related to the permutation action of \

Finding novel vulnerabilities of hypomorphic BRCA1 alleles
Synthetic lethality screens performed to identify novel vulnerabilities often model complete gene loss, thereby overlooking patient‐derived hypomorphic mutations. In this study, we have performed genome‐wide CRISPR screens on BRCA1 hypomorphic mutations, showing BRCA1I26A behaves like wild‐type, while BRCA1R1699Q mimics deficiency. Furthermore, we have

Many patients with urothelial cancer do not benefit from treatment with pembrolizumab, while at risk of severe side effects. Changes in the levels of circulating tumor DNA early during treatment, measured by a simple and affordable assay that can be easily implemented in the clinic, can be used as a prognostic tool to identify these patients.

The novel styrylquinazolinone‐based molecule W1B effectively suppresses glioblastoma by inhibiting IGF1R and EGFR. In high‐glucose microenvironments driving tumor resistance, W1B acts synergistically with the EGFR inhibitor dacomitinib. This combination safely blocks compensatory survival signaling in zebrafish xenograft models. Showcasing promising in

Tumor B‐cell infiltration in platinum‐treated advanced muscle‐invasive urothelial carcinoma
Bladder tumors with higher pretreatment memory B‐cell infiltration were linked to longer survival after cisplatin chemotherapy, but not carboplatin. These tumors also showed more organized immune structures (tertiary lymphoid structures) and a shared pro‐inflammatory B‐cell‐rich community, suggesting that memory B cells may help identify patients most ...

H∞ Control for Systems with Mechanical Constraints Based on Orthogonal Decomposition
In this paper, we study H∞ control for systems with explicit mechanical constraints and a lack of state information, such as walking robots. This paper proposes an H∞ control design scheme based on solving an optimization problem with linear matrix ...
