Linearized distortion model for robust speech recognition in noisy environments
The robustness of speech recognition system in noisy environments was investigated. The distortion model in Mel-frequency cepstral coefficient(MFCC) domain is highly non-linear and difficult to deal with.A new linear distortion model was proposed by ...

Multivariate Linear Hypothesis with Linear Restrictions
SUMMARY In this paper we consider a normal multivariate linear regression model and give a criterion for the simultaneous testing of a set of linear estimable parametric functions. We also derive the distribution of the criterion and obtain some allied results.

Radiotherapy (RT) response depends on the DNA repair capacity of tumor and host cells. We show that circulating tumor cell (CTC) counts and apoptosis rates before and after RT predict treatment response and outcome, which can be accessed via easily accessible liquid biopsy approaches. Created in BioRender. Wikman, H.

A urine‐based digital PCR assay targeting two hotspot TERT promoter variants detected bladder cancer with high sensitivity and no false positives in this case–control cohort. The streamlined AbsoluteQ workflow outperformed Sanger sequencing and supports non‐invasive molecular testing for bladder cancer detection.

This study shows that lung adenocarcinomas exploit developmental branching morphogenesis to acquire a therapy resistant basal‐like tumour cell state. This process was found to be regulated by combined TP53 loss‐of‐function and type‐I interferon signalling, identifying a novel axis for biomarker and therapeutic target discovery.

A 42-GHz transmitter linearization using pre-distortion IF amplifier
[[abstract]]This article presents a millimeter-wave (MMW) transmitter linearization using predistortion IF amplifier. The predistortion IF amplifier was designed in 0.18-μm CMOS technology at 2.4 GHz.

Pair‐wise comparison of the CellSearch and FETCH enrichment technologies for circulating tumor cells (CTCs) from metastatic breast, prostate, and small cell lung cancer patients shows an increased capture of CTCs using FETCH enrichment. The clinical implementation of circulating tumor cells (CTCs) as a predictive tool for therapy efficacy in the ...
