Internal Resonance Mismatch‐Controlled Dissipative Bistability Collapse in Coupled Micromechanical Oscillators

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This paper reveals internal resonance mismatch‐controlled dissipative bistability collapse in a coupled micromechanical resonator. Tuning δIR changes both internal‐mode amplitude and phase‐dependent feedback. For negative mismatch, Duffing bistability survives.

780 nm Narrow Linewidth External Cavity Diode Laser for Quantum Sensing

open access: yesSensors
To meet the demands of laser communication, quantum precision measurement, cold atom technology, and other fields for narrow linewidth and low-noise light sources, an external cavity diode laser (ECDL) operating in the wavelength range around 780 nm was ...

Multifunctional Quantum Sensing Using Single Spins in a van der Waals Crystal

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The work demonstrates a dual quantum sensing of temperature and magnetic field using spin‐complex quantum emitters in hexagonal boron nitride (hBN). Temperature sensing via zero‐phonon‐line shifts and magnetometry via optically detected magnetic resonances, enable simultaneous local thermometry and magnetic‐field measurements.

Measurement of the linewidth enhancement factor of quantum cascade lasers by the self-mixing technique

open access: yes, 2006
We present measurements of the linewidth enhancement factor of a distributed feedback quantum cascade laser (DFB-QCL) using the so-called self-mixing technique.

Pressure‐Tuned Superconducting Dome and Persistent Charge‐Density‐Wave Order in NdSeTe2

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
NdSeTe2 exhibits an unusual pressure‐tuned phase diagram in which charge‐density‐wave order does not disappear at optimal superconductivity. Instead, Raman spectroscopy reveals a transformation from long‐range to short‐range correlations that remain invisible to resistivity and persist across the entire superconducting dome.

Toward Cell‐Specific Molecular MRI: Modulating Chemical Exchange Saturation Transfer Contrast With Manganese

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
Manganese‐modulated chemical exchange saturation transfer (CEST) MRI, Manga CEST, leverages intracellular Mn2+ uptake to selectively perturb CEST contrast. Comparing Z‐spectra before and after Mn reveals compartment‐specific contributions. In vivo, neuron‐enriched Mn accumulation induces frequency‐dependent attenuation (3–4 ppm), enabling cell‐weighted

Measurement technique for narrow-linewidth ferrimagnets

open access: yesElectronics Letters, 1966
This proposed technique for narrow-linewidth measurement allows one to take into account the radiation-damping contribution to the observed linewidth. Therefore it is possible, considering this important interaction between the sample and circuit, to increase the measurement sensitivity and accuracy.

Engineering Borophene Band Structure Through Thickness

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Borophene grown on W(110) shows a thickness‐dependent evolution of its structural and electronic properties. Surface microscopy, diffraction, XPS, and ARPES reveal distinct monolayer and bilayer phases. The formation of the second layer is accompanied by structural reconstruction, changes in chemical properties, and new ARPES features, demonstrating ...

Characterization of Full‐Length Antibody Complexes Through HDX‐Mass Spectrometry Coupled With NMR Spectroscopy: New Insight Into Avelumab/PD‐L1 Interaction

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
Combining HDX‐MS and NMR enables the mapping of epitopes and paratopes in full‐length antibody complexes, revealing transient interactions and potential artifacts. ABSTRACT Recombinant biomacromolecules have significantly transformed pharmaceuticals, in particular monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) that target key areas in oncology, immunology, inflammation,
