Modeling of MZM-based photonic link power budget
An accurate methodology for analyzing the Mach-Zehnder modulator (MZM) based optical link power budget is presented. It optimizes the transceiver's system-level performance to meet the specifications of the optical links with N-level (N=2,4,8) pulse amplitude modulation format for high-speed signaling.

Power link budget for propagating Bessel beams [PDF]
The power link budget for a system that transmits and receives propagating Bessel beams is studied. The transmitter and receiver are separated by a distance D and consist of leaky radial waveguides. Full-wave simulations are used to compute the admittance-matrix representation of the system.

Link Budget Estimation and Implementation on Power Private Wireless Data Network
Abstract A link budget estimated scheme on wireless data network is introduced in this paper. The wireless propagation model for 230MHz frequency band and 1800MHz frequency band was analysed. Through Matlab GUI, a visual link budget estimated software was implemented.

Real-Time 100 Gb/s PAM-4 for Access Links With up to 34 dB Power Budget
The growing demand for broadband access networks keeps motivating research for higher capacity in both wired and wireless access networks. Recently, the recommendation for 50G-PON with conventional NRZ modulation has been published. Bidirectional point-to-point access networks, also known as BiDi, used in mobile xHaul, are standardized up to 50 Gb/s ...

ANALISIS REDAMAN PADA JARINGAN FIBER OPTIK DENGAN METODE LINK POWER BUDGET PADA PT. BIZNET

Enhancing Power Budget and Spectral Efficiency in Amplifier-Less Coherent Optical Links
With the standardization of 400ZR driving the focus on coherent pluggables for short-reach applications, cost-effective links must be deployed. A way to achieve this is by removing the optical amplification; however, this exacerbates the impact of a high peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR).

200 Gbps/λ PON Downstream C-Band Direct-Detection Links with ≥29 dB Power Budget
In this paper we present the simulative analysis of a 200 Gbps per wavelength (λ) 8-level pulse amplitude modulation (PAM-8) downstream communication over up to 20 km single mode fiber (SMF) in C-band based on direct detection (DD) achieving at least a 29 dB link power budget in a PON environment.
