Private record linkage with linkage maps
SECURITY AND PRIVACY, 2022AbstractPrivate record linkage is an actively pursued research area to facilitate the linkage of database records under the constraints of regulations that do not allow linkage agents to learn sensitive identities of record owners. Recent works have shown that linkage using commutative ciphers, which were discarded earlier for efficiency concerns, can ...

Journal of Software Maintenance: Research and Practice, 1993
AbstractMost work in software metrics has been aimed at measuring the quality or cost of software. This paper gives an example of how metrics may be used to give information about how the software system is organized, specifically the data linkage between procedures in the source code.

Bayesian Multilocus Linkage Mapping
1988The construction of mammalian genetic maps entails finding solutions to a number of distinct but interrelated problems. First, linkage to the correct chromosome and chromosomal region must be established, and linkage to other chromosomal regions must be excluded.

AbstractMethodologies and tools for the construction of complete, primary genetic linkage maps of human chromosomes are emerging. Special families, optimal because of family structure for revealing linkage relationships, have been sampled and a number of genotypic determinations gathered.

Genome, 1996
A population resulting from a double pseudotestcross of two outbred-derived asparagus (Asparagus officinalis L.) clones was evaluated by RFLP (restriction fragment length polymorphism) analysis to produce individual maps of the male and female parents. An asparagus PstI genomic library was created and used as the source of probes.

Novel approaches to linkage mapping
Current Opinion in Genetics & Development, 1995The recent progress seen in the development of high-quality genetic markers and high-density human genetic maps is facilitating new strategies for mapping disease-causing and disease-susceptibility genes. These strategies, which include homozygosity mapping, DNA pooling, and the utilization of linkage disequilibrium, have been successfully applied to ...

A linkage map of rye (Secale cereale L.) is presented which comprises 60 loci including RFLPs, RAPDs, isozyme, morphological and physiological markers. The genetics and linkage relationships of these markers were investigated in several inbred lines of rye.
