DYNAMIC MEMORY ALLOCATOR ALGORITHMS SIMULATION AND PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS

open access: yesElectrica, 2005
In this work, Dynamic memory allocation that is critical issue in the design of computer systems is examined. During first part of this project, improved software techniques separated into three different categories such as Bit map, Linked list ...

Skip Ring/Circular Skip List: Circular Linked List Based New Data Structure [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
A linked list is a data structure consisting of a group of nodes which together represent a sequence. Linked lists are used in skip list data structures. They consist of a layered structure and all nodes are in the bottom layer.

Versatile vector tools for efficient protein screening across multiple expression systems

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
A unified vector toolkit enables rapid protein expression screening across E. coli, insect, and mammalian cells. A single primer pair amplifies the target gene, which is inserted into any vector via a standardized interface. This streamlined workflow eliminates repeated cloning steps, accelerating the identification of optimal expression conditions for

Generic Mechanism for Transforming a Single-Producer / Single-Consumer Unbounded Linked List into a Bounded Linked List without Allocation [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
SPSC unbounded linked list are very easy to construct and may have interesting properties like Wait-freedom or Lock Freedom but generally provided implementation are unbounded and require Memory Allocation for adding nodes.

Cyclic azapeptide CD36 ligand attenuates cardiac injury and reduces long‐chain fatty acid accumulation after myocardial ischemia–reperfusion in mice

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
In a murine model of myocardial ischemia and reperfusion (MI/R), the CD36 azapeptide ligand MPE‐298 reduces cardiac injury and transiently lowers left ventricular long‐chain fatty acids (LCFAs) accumulation 3 h after reperfusion, accompanied by a decrease of oxidative stress and inflammation‐associated genes' expression in the heart and adipose tissue.

Accelerated computational implementation of reconciliation for continuous variable quantum key distribution on GPU

open access: yesTongxin xuebao, 2017
For the low computing speed of reconciliation for current continuous variable quantum key distribution, CPU&GPU-parallel reconciliation algorithms was designed based on LDPC of SEC protocol to speed up decoding computing. In order to raise decoding ...

Guiding AlphaFold to predict how Munc13‐1 opens Syntaxin‐1

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
The syntaxin‐1 Habc‐domain (orange), linker (pink) and SNARE motif (yellow) form a closed conformation that binds to Munc18‐1 (violet) and is opened by the Munc13‐1 MUN domain (cyan) to form the SNARE complex that triggers neurotransmitter release.

Hyperosmotic stress‐induced redistribution of pre‐mRNA cleavage factor I subunits is associated with shifts in alternative polyadenylation

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Hyperosmotic stress triggers the relocation of the CFIm complex from the nucleus to the cytoplasm. This shift creates a nuclear ‘stoichiometric bottleneck’, limiting CFIm availability for mRNA processing. Consequently, specific mRNAs like NUDT21 and DICER1 undergo targeted 3′UTR shortening, demonstrating how spatial protein dynamics drive rapid ...
