COSTS, YIELDS, AND NET RETURNS, COMMERCIAL ULTRA-NARROW ROW COTTON PRODUCTION, MISSISSIPPI, 1999 [PDF]

open access: yes
An analysis of a 1999 sample of 13 no-till producers indicates that over a reasonable range of cotton lint prices, ultra narrow cotton production may result in larger net returns per acre than conventional production practices.

Sunflower Oil–Beeswax Oleogels and Bigels Enriched With Quercetin‐Rich Onion Phenolics for Biscuit Fat Replacement: Physicochemical, Antioxidant, and Stability Outcomes

open access: yesFood Science &Nutrition, Volume 14, Issue 1, January 2026.
Sunflower oil–beeswax bigels delivered oleogel‐like functionality while softening the network and modestly lowering melting behavior; phenolic enrichment with a quercetin‐rich onion extract increased antioxidant capacity without altering mechanics.

Comparative Analyses of Cyanoacrylates for Barrier Protection and Incontinence‐Related Wash‐Off Resistance

open access: yesInternational Wound Journal, Volume 23, Issue 1, January 2026.
ABSTRACT A comprehensive skincare regimen involves cleansing, moisturising, and using skin barrier protectants. Cyanoacrylate‐based protectants safeguard vulnerable skin from damage caused by moisture, friction, and shear. This research involved two ex vivo and two clinical studies comparing the wear duration and wash‐off resistance of a 100 ...

A Field‐Based Investigation of the Association Between Cotton Leafroll Dwarf Virus and Bronze Wilt‐Like Responses in Upland Cotton in Georgia

open access: yesPlant Pathology, Volume 75, Issue 1, January/February 2026.
In Georgia, commercial upland cotton cultivars that expressed bronze wilt‐like responses consistently showed high copy numbers of cotton leafroll dwarf virus (CLRDV) gene, particularly in late‐planted cotton. These observations parallel historical reports of bronze wilt and suggest an association between CLRDV infection and bronze wilt‐like symptom ...

Adoption of No-Tillage Practices, Other Conservation-Tillage Practices and Herbicide-Resistant Cotton Seed, and Their Synergistic Environmental Impacts [PDF]

open access: yes
If adoption of herbicide-resistant seed and adoption of conservation-tillage practices are determined simultaneously, adoption of herbicide-resistant seed could indirectly reduce soil erosion and adoption of conservation-tillage practices could ...

Determination of 55Fe and 63Ni in Pb–Bi by Radiochemical Separation Method

open access: yesScience and Technology of Nuclear Installations, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
This paper introduces a simple and rapid separation method for the determination of 55Fe and 63Ni in lead–bismuth alloys. This method is based on chemical precipitation and solid‐phase extraction chromatography techniques, which can separate and purify individual radionuclides from sample matrix elements and other radionuclides.
