Interfacial tension has been determined for phosphatidylcholine-cholesterol, phosphatidylcholine-phosphatidylethanolamine, and phosphatidylethanolamine-cholesterol membranes. Phosphatidylcholine (PC), phosphatidylethanolamine (PE), and cholesterol (Ch) were to be investigated, because of their presence in biological membranes.
