MANF in cardiomyocytes interacts with BAX to impede BAX mitochondrial translocation and cytochrome c release, further stabilizing mitochondrial structure and energy supply to relieve myocardial apoptosis and hypertrophy, which indicates MANF as a novel cardioprotective factor to have a promising clinical application for myocardial hypertrophy ...

Potentiating Cerebral Perfusion Normalizes Glymphatic Dynamics in Systemic Inflammation
LPS‐induced systemic inflammation increases glymphatic influx but delays cervical lymphatic drainage, accompanied by AQP4 depolarization and impaired glymphatic clearance. Enhancing cerebral blood flow via the inotropic agent levosimendan effectively restored AQP4 polarization, improving glymphatic flux and amyloid‐β clearance.

Investigation of the effects of lipopolysaccharide preconditioning on neuropathic pain induced by chronic sciatic nerve constriction injury in rats [PDF]
Background: Neuropathic pain results from nerve injury and involves pro-inflammatory cytokines that activate pain-sensing neurons, contributing to both the onset and maintenance of pain.
