Rotating Liquid Marble Microreactors for Enhanced Enzymatic Reactions
Dynamic magnetic liquid marbles (LMs), stabilized by hydrophobic magnetic proteinaceous colloidosomes, function as effective microreactors for enzymatic processes. Precise magnetic manipulation allows for the rotation of these LMs, enhancing the efficiency of the enzymatic cascade reaction both at the air/water interface and within biphasic enzyme ...

Domain Growth Kinetics in a Cell-sized Liposome [PDF]
We investigated the kinetics of domain growth on liposomes consisting of a ternary mixture (unsaturated phospholipid, saturated phospholipid, and cholesterol) by temperature jump. The domain growth process was monitored by fluorescence microscopy, where the growth was mediated by the fusion of domains through the collision. It was found that an average

Vesicular systems for delivering conventional small organic molecules and larger macromolecules to and through human skin [PDF]
The history of using vesicular systems for drug delivery to and through skin started nearly three decades ago with a study utilizing phospholipid liposomes to improve skin deposition and reduce systemic effects of triamcinolone acetonide.

Synthetic Strategy for mRNA Encapsulation and Gene Delivery with Nanoscale Metal‐Organic Frameworks
This research utilizes the ZIF‐8 for the encapsulation and intracellular delivery of nucleic acids, specifically mRNA, for applications in gene delivery. Integrating PEI addresses the issue of mRNA leakage from ZIF‐8, resulting in the delivery and expression of green fluorescent protein (GFP) in vitro and firefly luciferase in vivo.

Liposomes encapsulating polymeric chitosan based vesicles - a vesicle in vesicle system for drug delivery [PDF]
Drug delivery systems comprising vesicles prepared from one amphiphile encapsulating vesicles prepared from a second amphiphile have not been prepared previously due to a tendency of the bilayer components of the different vesicles to mix during ...

CD105‐LNPs and PS‐LNPs can deliver α‐lipoic acid to bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells and bone marrow‐derived macrophages, reversing high glucose‐induced oxidative stress while enhancing osteogenesis and M2 polarization. Integrating both nanoparticles into glucose‐responsive hyaluronic acid hydrogel forms DLNPs@HA hydrogel, which accelerates diabetic ...

Liposomes containing dexamethasone: preparation, characteristics and application in ophthalmology
Glucocorticoid dexamethasone (DM) liposomes of various lipid compositions were obtained. DM was used in insoluble form and in water-soluble form as disodium salt of dexamethasone phosphate (DMP).

Liposomal Form of the Echinochrome-Carrageenan Complex
Inclusion of drugs in liposomes offers the potential for localized and sustained delivery to mucosal surfaces. The inclusion of the carrageenan matrix with echinochrome A ((Ech)—the active substance of the drug Histochrome) in liposomes was studied.
