A convergence analysis of the iteratively regularized Gauss–Newton method under the Lipschitz condition [PDF]
In this paper we consider the iteratively regularized Gauss–Newton method for solving nonlinear ill-posed inverse problems. Under merely the Lipschitz condition, we prove that this method together with an a posteriori stopping rule defines an order ...

Joint Estimation and Bandwidth Selection in Partially Parametric Models
ABSTRACT We propose a single‐step approach to estimating a model with both a known nonlinear parametric component and an unknown nonparametric component. We study the large sample behavior of a simultaneous optimization routine that estimates both the parameter vector of the parametric component and the bandwidth vector used to smooth the unknown ...

Abstract This paper is devoted to the approximation of two‐ and three‐dimensional Dirac operators HV∼δΣ$H_{\widetilde{V} \delta _\Sigma }$ with combinations of electrostatic and Lorentz scalar δ$\delta$‐shell interactions in the norm resolvent sense. Relying on results from Behrndt, Holzmann, and Stelzer‐Landauer [Math. Nachr.

We first introduce the new real function class ℱ satisfying an implicit Lipschitz-type condition. Then, by using ℱ-type real functions, some common fixed point theorems for a pair of self-mappings satisfying an implicit Lipschitz-type condition in fuzzy ...

Uniqueness for retarded delay differential equations without Lipschitz condition
Consider the equation $\dot x(t)=f(t, x(t), x(t-r(t)))$ with the initial condition $x_{0}=\phi$. Here $f$ is a continuous real function, but it does not satisfy other regularity conditions.

The goal of this work is to look at how a nonlinear model describes hematopoiesis and its complexities utilizing commonly used techniques with historical and material links. Based on time delay, the Mackey–Glass model is explored in two instances. To offer a range, the relevance of the parameter impacting stability (bifurcation) is recorded.

Approximate solutions for a class of doubly perturbed stochastic differential equations
In this paper, we study the Carathéodory approximate solution for a class of doubly perturbed stochastic differential equations (DPSDEs). Based on the Carathéodory approximation procedure, we prove that DPSDEs have a unique solution and show that the ...

ABSTRACT The well‐posedness results for mild solutions to the fractional neutral stochastic differential system with Rosenblatt process with Hurst index Ĥ∈12,1$$ \hat{H}\in \left(\frac{1}{2},1\right) $$ is discussed in this article. To demonstrate the results, the concept of bounded integral contractors is combined with the stochastic result and ...

Qualitative Lipschitz to bi-Lipschitz decomposition
We prove that any Lipschitz map that satisfies a condition inspired by the work of G. David may be decomposed into countably many bi-Lipschitz pieces.
