Addressing the challenges inherent in dry reforming of methane (DRM), this paper focuses on the structural design and performance optimization of Ni‐based catalysts. The modulation strategies for DRM are systematically reviewed across four dimensions: the micromorphology of active metals, metal‐support interactions, electronic modifications by ...

Laser‐assisted in situ fabrication of atomically thin Ga2O3 films for dielectric applications
A confinement template‐assisted squeeze method, in conjunction with laser‐assisted in situ oxidation, facilitates fabrication of centimeter‐scale and atomically thin gallium oxide films from liquid gallium under room temperature conditions. This low‐damage approach avoids thermal degradation of sensitive materials and supports high‐performance field ...

Prediction of Soil Liquefaction Triggering Using Rule-Based Interpretable Machine Learning
Seismic events remain a significant threat, causing loss of life and extensive damage in vulnerable regions. Soil liquefaction, a complex phenomenon where soil particles lose confinement, poses a substantial risk.

Design of horizontal drains for the mitigation of liquefaction risk
Abstract Drainage is one of the most popular protecting measures to mitigate ground liquefaction. Deploying the drains horizontally may be convenient where conventional vertical ones cannot be used, like beneath existing structures. The spacing among drains must be designed to limit the pore pressure build-up during shaking.

The effectiveness of three washing methods (tap water, 0.01% sodium hypochlorite, and 1% citric acid) was investigated on spinach and tomatoes. The citric acid solution demonstrated the highest microbial reduction for both spinach and tomatoes, particularly during storage, and maintained the produce texture or color.

Multifactorial Screening for Fine‐Scale Selection of CCS Industrial Clusters and Hubs in Brazil
ABSTRACT As Brazil moves toward implementing its decarbonization commitments, carbon capture and storage (CCS) hubs are emerging as a key pathway for large‐scale CO2 abatement in hard‐to‐abate sectors. This paper presents a multifactorial, data‐driven framework to screen and prioritize potential CCS industrial clusters and hubs across Brazilian regions,

Perspectives of the European Natural Gas Markets until 2025 [PDF]
We apply the EMF 23 study design to simulate the effects of the reference case and the scenarios to European natural gas supplies to 2025. We use GASMOD, a strategic severallayer model of European gas supply, consisting of upstream natural gas producers,
