Long time tail effect in liquid state NMR spectroscopy

Chemical Physics Letters, 2003
Abstract Experimental evidence of long time tail effect in liquid state NMR spectroscopy has been observed, characterized and its potential applications proposed. It is found that the physical mechanism for the long time tail of the spin auto-correlation function in the liquid state is similar to, but not identical with, that in the solid state.

Ensemble Quantum Computing by Liquid-State NMR Spectroscopy

2001
Abstract : We propose to use NMR as a testbed to develop general methods for solving computational problems on EQC's, to study the fundamental physics and computer science of these machines, and to learn how to make optimal use of the trade-offs that their unique capabilities permit us to make.

Dynamic Nuclear Polarization: Applications to Liquid-State NMR Spectroscopy

2009
Dynamic nuclear polarization (DNP) was first demonstrated in the early days of NMR spectroscopy. The technique involves the transfer of large spin polarization from unpaired electron spins to neighboring nuclei using microwave irradiation close to the electron Larmor frequency.

NMR study of Sc1−xUxPd3 under non-fermi liquid state

Physica B: Condensed Matter, 2000
Abstract We have performed 45Sc NMR measurements on the Sc1−xUxPd3 system, which exhibits an unconventional Kondo effect with a non-Fermi liquid character at low temperatures for the samples with x⩽0.3. The relaxation rates, 1/T1, for the x=0.3 and 0.25 samples are strongly enhanced by magnetic fluctuations below 30 K in low magnetic field ...

Liquid state NMR studies of polymer dynamics and conformation

1993
Nuclear magnetic resonance experiments can reveal not only the chemical structures of polymers, together with their defects, but also a wealth of detail concerning their conformations and their motions. The local conformations combine to determine the bulk coiling properties of the polymer, such as the radius of gyration and hydrodynamic volume.

Characterisation of PolydimethylSiloxane(PDMS) by liquid-state NMR spectroscopy

2021
This work analyzes how two liquid /viscose base materials (Base and Curing Agent by Ecoflex ?), after putting together and polymerization, will produce silicones. We want to show how vinyl groups are consumed and how methyl attached groups increase during this process. And how Base and Curing Agent are different.
