On the Issue of Onomastics Rendering in Literary Translation
Folk art and ethnology, 2023The article is dedicated to the problem of rendering of eloquent proper names in the translations of fiction writing. Attention is paid to the Hungarian and English translations of The Black Council historical novel by Panteleimon Kulish. The author has informed the editor of the magazine Moskvityanin of M. Pogodin on October 15, 1843.
