The purpose of this study was to measure the effects of participating in literature circles on overall achievement of 10th grade Honors English students at a high school in Maryland. The measurement tool that was used was student achievement on Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers (PARCC) practice pre-and post-tests.
