(Invited) Primary Electrodeposition of Lithium Metal for Secondary Batteries
ECS Meeting Abstracts, 2019The secondary lithium metal system is the ultimate negative electrode given its phase, redox potential and mass. To maximize the energy density of a cell the lithium metal should be in coulombic balance with the cathode of choice, but the large scale manufacturing of thin lithium foils remains a challenge.
