Lithium in Population II Stars

1992
NEW data about dwarfs : a few more metal-poor dwarfs have been observed for lithium at the CAT + CES at La Silla (ESO). These new results, together with a few new measurements in the literature show again a constant lithium abundance, confirming the trend previously found (the plateau).

Lithium Isotopic Abundances in Old Stars

2008
Lithium is an element of great importance from a cosmological point of view. Observations of its light isotope 6Li are very delicate and in the literature, detections for only a handful of metal-poor stars are found. High quality spectra (S/N ∼ 450, R ∼ 100000) of the Li I 670.8 nm resonance line of six metal-poor stars, taken at the Subaru telescope ...

Lithium in Am and δDel Stars

1986
High-resolution observations of the doublet LiI-6707 A were made to study the abundance of lithium in a sample of Am, δDel, and reference stars. It is found that Am and δDel stars may be underabundant, normal or overabundant in lithium (normal Li abundance meaning log NLi = 3.0 with log NH = 12).

Lithium depletion in solar-type stars

2008
The theme of this conference is, essentially, stars with surface convective zones. Most of the phenomena discussed here, such as chromospheric and coronal activity, or angular momentum loss, occur because these stars representing a broad range of temperature and mass have surface convection. But despite the fundamental importance of convection for what

Observational Status of Lithium in Stars

1995
Some of the new data about lithium abundance in stars are reviewed here. The data, that seem more directly linked with the problem of the primordial nucleosynthesis, are briefly discussed. In order to reach a clear conclusion, progresses in the stellar atmosphere theory are necessary.
