The moulting arthropod: a complete genetic toolkit review
ABSTRACT Exoskeletons are a defining character of all arthropods that provide physical support for their segmented bodies and appendages as well as protection from the environment and predation. This ubiquitous yet evolutionarily variable feature has been instrumental in facilitating the adoption of a variety of lifestyles and the exploitation of ...

Patterns of aerial arthropod biomass and diversity from three regions of boreal Alaska
We documented aerial arthropod biomass and diversity over 4 years in three regions in boreal Alaska—two in central Alaska and one in southcentral Alaska. Traps yielded 115,078 specimens of 15 orders and 692 unique taxa. Mean aerial arthropod biomass was more than three times higher in Fairbanks than in Anchorage.

Remylamyctes (Chilopoda: Lithobiomorpha), a henicopid centipede from Madagascar and R union
Restudy of the syntypes of Remylamyctes straminea Attems, 1951, from Madagascar and R union, indicates membership of this monotypic genus in the Henicopini rather than the Zygethobiini. The supposed restriction of spiracles to segments 5, 10 and 12 is in error; R. straminea has spiracles on segments 1, 3, 5, 8, 10, 12 and 14, as in all Henicopini.
