This study introduces selenium‐integrated cyanine dye (Se‐Cyn), with superior photostability, absorption, and photothermal efficiency, outperforming ICG in NIR window. Its nanoparticle form remains stable in water, accumulates in tumors, and enables strong optoacoustic imaging and effective phototherapy outcomes.

Probiotics in live feed culture [PDF]
Probiotics are considered as an excellent tool for microbial management in mariculture. They play a major role in mariculture either to establish optimal microbial communities in live feed cultures or as direct feed supplementation for fish larvae. In

Cuttlefish and squid can catch their prey within milliseconds using specialized tentacles and suckers. The physics of how the suckers can attach so quickly has remained a mystery given the technical challenges of studying them in vivo. In this publication, we develop a hydrogel that retains imprints of the suckers in order to estimate the forces they ...

This study shows crosstalk among tumor cells, fibroblasts, and macrophages alters the physical forces inside 3D tumor spheroids. Incorporating deformable microparticles in 3D tumor spheroids, the researchers mapped mechanical stresses spatially and with respect to tumor growth (temporally).
