Molecular characterisation of human penile carcinoma and generation of paired epithelial primary cell lines

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Generation of two normal and tumour (cancerous) paired human cell lines using an established tissue culture technique and their characterisation is described. Cell lines were characterised at cellular, protein, chromosome and gene expression levels and for HPV status.

Detection of circulating tumor DNA in colorectal cancer patients using a methylation‐specific droplet digital PCR multiplex

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We developed a cost‐effective methylation‐specific droplet digital PCR multiplex assay containing tissue‐conserved and tumor‐specific methylation markers. The assay can detect circulating tumor DNA with high accuracy in patients with localized and metastatic colorectal cancer.

Perspectives in educating molecular pathologists on liquid biopsy: Toward integrative, equitable, and decentralized precision oncology

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Liquid biopsy enables minimally invasive, real‐time molecular profiling through analysis of circulating biomarkers in biological fluids. This Perspective highlights the importance of training pathologists through integrative educational programs, such as the European Masters in Molecular Pathology, to ensure effective and equitable implementation of ...

INFLUENCE OF LIVE WEIGHT ON STARCH AND N DIGESTION OF CORN-BASED (DRY-ROLLED OR STEAM-FLAKED) FINISHING DIETS FOR HOLSTEIN STEERS

open access: yesTropical and Subtropical Agroecosystems
Background. A possible effect of live weight on digestion capacity and starch and nitrogen utilization in cattle has been suggested, however, to our knowledge, this effect has not been evaluated by direct testing.

Liveness in Weighted Routed Nets

open access: yes, 1996
In this paper, we present an algorithm to check liveness of weighted routed nets. This novel method is based on the total number of event equations for each single input subnet and on a continuous approximation of a Petri net that provides linear equation descriptions.
