The present study evaluates the effects of a borosilicate bioactive glass (BG) that was doped with the pro‐angiogenic copper (Cu). In vitro, the addition of copper significantly improved cytocompatibility, osteogenic differentiation and pro‐angiogenic response of human bone marrow‐derived mesenchymal stromal cells (BMSCs).
