POM‐Based Water Splitting Catalyst Under Acid Conditions Driven by Its Assembly on Carbon Nanotubes

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A newly‐engineered POM‐based electrocatalyst incorporating non‐innocent counter cations exhibits fast kinetics for either the OER or HER under strongly acidic conditions (1 m H2SO4), depending on whether it is assembled on carbon nanotubes (1@CNT) or physically mixed with them (1/CNT). In water‐splitting tests using a two‐electrode setup, these systems

Ferrous Pyrophosphate Hollow Nanorods Enable Lithium Metal Batteries Under Low Negative/Positive Capacity Ratios

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
N‐doped carbon‐coated ferrous pyrophosphate (Fe2P2O7@NC) hollow nanorods are rationally synthesized through a self‐template method. The Fe2P2O7@NC hollow nanorods facilitate uniform Li deposition as a Li host by generating LiF on the electrode/electrolyte interface, and form Li2O in the bulk phase of the electrode.

Effects of Supraglottic Airway Devices on Hemodynamic Response and Optic Nerve Sheath Diameter: Proseal LMA, LMA Supreme, and I-gel LMA

open access: yesMedicina, 2023
Background and Objectives: Supraglottic airway devices (SADs) are known to be useful in eliminating the drawbacks of laryngoscopy and tracheal intubation, especially ocular pressure and stress responses. The ultrasonographic measurement of optic nerve sheath diameter (ONSD) reflects increases in intracranial pressure (ICP).

Comparative Case Series on LMA-Assisted Flexible Fiberoptic Bronchoscopy

open access: yesMedical Journal of Dr. D.Y. Patil Vidyapeeth
Fiberoptic bronchoscopy in children requires sedation, while routinely employed techniques for oxygenation under sedation don’t provide airway protection.LMA during FOB can provide safer ventilation with good operative views.Although the use of laryngeal
