Valorisation et Recyclage des Déchets Plastiques dans le Béton

open access: yesMATEC Web of Conferences, 2014
La valorisation des déchets dans le génie civil est un secteur important dans la mesure où les produits que l’on souhaite obtenir ne sont pas soumis à des critères de qualité trop rigoureux.

Enhancing the mechanical and durability properties of bio self-compacting sand concrete containing granite industrial waste as a fine aggregate: an experimental study

open access: yesBudownictwo i Architektura
Self-compacting sand concrete (SCSC) is a highly fluid concrete widely used as a building material. The present investigation examined the impact of using seashell powder (SSP) and granite waste (GW) as supplementary cementitious material and fine ...

Numerical analysis of flow within a packed bed using computational fluid dynamics: Effects of fluid nature and regime [PDF]

open access: yesHemijska Industrija
This research conducts a computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis comparing laminar and k-epsilon turbulent models of fluid flow through a packed bed. For this, three types of fluids (water, water vapor and carbon dioxide) were examined. The CFD model

INFLUENCE OF CHROMIUM SOURCES ON PERFORMANCE OF GIMMIZAH CHICKENS FED LOW METABOLIZABLE ENERGY AND CRUDE PROTEIN DIETS [PDF]

open access: yesEgyptian Poultry Science, 2019
This study was done to investigate the influence of chromium sources (organic; Cr-yeast and inorganic; Crcl3) on the performance of Gimmizah chickens fed low metabolizable energy (LME) or low metabolizable energy and crude protein (LMECP) diets.  A total

Tailoring Phonon‐Driven Responses in α‐MoO3 through Isotopic Enrichment

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The implementation of polaritonic materials into nanoscale devices requires selective tuning of parameters to realize desired spectral or thermal responses. One robust material, α‐MoO3, an orthorhombic crystal boasting three distinct phonon dispersions, provides three polaritonic dispersions of hyperbolic phonon polaritons (HPhPs) across the ...

Impacts of Traditional Warm-Up and Post-Activation Potentiation on Muscle Endurance During the Back Squat: Response of Blood Lactate, Perceived Effort, and Time Under Tension

open access: yesJournal of Functional Morphology and Kinesiology
Background: Warm-up strategies are essential for optimizing strength-training performance. Traditional warm-ups improve neuromuscular readiness, whereas post-activation potentiation (PAP) has been proposed to acutely enhance muscular output.

Personalized Network‐Guided Neuromodulation Enhances Human Working Memory

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A personalized neuromodulation framework combining individualized functional brain network targeting with real‐time neural decoding is introduced. Using concurrent TMS–fMRI, participant‐specific stimulation targets and optimal frequencies are identified. Only optimal‐frequency stimulation improves working memory across sessions.

Cumulative Antigen Suppression Reduces Clonal Plasma Cell Evolution in Gaucher Disease

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Hematology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Chronic antigenic stimulation is implicated in the pathogenesis of monoclonal gammopathy and multiple myeloma, yet longitudinal human evidence linking sustained antigen exposure to modifiable clonal plasma cell evolution remains limited. Gaucher disease (GD), caused by biallelic GBA1 pathogenic variants, is characterized by accumulation of ...

Locally Maximally Entangled States of Multipart Quantum Systems [PDF]

open access: yesQuantum, 2019
For a multipart quantum system, a locally maximally entangled (LME) state is one where each elementary subsystem is maximally entangled with its complement. This paper is a sequel to~[J. Bryan, Z. Reichstein and M.
