FEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.Activation of the mitochondrial protein OXR1 increases pSyn129 αSynuclein aggregation by lowering ATP levels and altering mitochondrial membrane potential, particularly in response to MSA‐derived fibrils. In contrast, ablation of the ER protein EMC4 enhances autophagic flux and lysosomal clearance, broadly reducing α‐synuclein aggregates.

IEEE Signal Processing Letters, 2003 We analyze the hierarchical least mean-square (HLMS) algorithm, providing expressions for its steady-state mean-square error (MSE). We find conditions for the hierarchical structure to be equivalent to the optimal (full-length) Wiener solution. When these conditions are not satisfied, we show that HLMS will compute biased estimates.
