In Vitro Incorporation of LNA Nucleotides

Nucleosides, Nucleotides & Nucleic Acids, 2007
An LNA modified nucleoside triphosphate 1 was synthesized in order to investigate its potential to act as substrate for DNA strand synthesis by polymerases. Primer extension assays for the incorporation experiments revealed that Phusion High Fidelity DNA polymerase is an efficient enzyme for incorporation of the LNA nucleotide and for extending strand ...

Aptamers as a model for functional evaluation of LNA and 2′-amino LNA

Bioorganic & Medicinal Chemistry Letters, 2009
The affinity change upon incorporation of LNA and 2'-amino-LNA monomers into an avidin binding DNA aptamer is described. The kinetic profile of selected modified-aptamer was obtained by surface plasmon resonance experiments and compared with the profile of the parent unmodified DNA aptamer.

LNA Inventions

2012
The main design goals of an LNA are to achieve low noise figure, high gain, good linearity and good matching and reverse isolation. The choice of the LNA topology is therefore very important to suit the design application. Five LNA topologies were studied, analyzed and compared in this chapter.

A 35 GHz monolithic MESFET LNA

IEEE 1988 Microwave and Millimeter-Wave Monolithic Circuits Symposium. Digest of Papers., 2003
The design and fabrication of a state-of-the-art 35-GHz monolithic low-noise amplifier (LNA) is briefly described. The amplifier, with 6.5-dB gain, 4-dB noise figure, and 10-dBm power output at 1-dB gain compression, is based on a 0.25- mu m*200- mu m molecular-beam epitaxy (MBE)-grown MESFET.

X-band Monolithic Series Feedback LNA

MTT-S International Microwave Symposium Digest, 1985
An X-band monolithic three-stage low noise amplifier (LNA) employing series feedback has demonstrated 1.8 dB noise figure with 30.0 dB gain and an input VSWR less than 1.2:1 at 10 GHz. The key to this design is using monolithic technology to obtain an exactly repeatable series feedback inductance to achieve a simultaneous noise match and input VSWR ...

LNA noise parameter measurement

2015 European Conference on Circuit Theory and Design (ECCTD), 2015
Joint measurement of stochastic parameters of a low noise amplifier (LNA), based on output power measurement for input termination impedances is considered. As an advantage of this method the noise parameters can be determined in a quick way for narrow and broad band applications without special equipment.

A 5.5-GHz 3mW LNA and inductive degenerative CMOS LNA noise figure calculation

2008 International Conference on Microelectronics, 2008
This paper, presents a precise noise figure formula for inductive degeneration CMOS LNAs. Also a fully integrated CMOS LNA with on-chip spiral inductors in 0.18 ?m CMOS technology for 5.5-GHz unlicensed national information infrastructure (U-NII), 802.11a and IEEE 802.11n wireless LAN receivers is presented in this paper.

Synthesis and Hybridization Studies of 2‘-Amino-α-L-LNA and Tetracyclic “Locked LNA”

The Journal of Organic Chemistry, 2006
A convergent route to a new class of locked nucleic acids, i.e., 2'-amino-alpha-L-LNA, has been developed. The optimized synthetic route to the corresponding phosphoramidite building block of thymine proceeds in 4% overall yield over 15 steps from the starting diol.
