Pollen Load Spectrum of Tomato Pollinators
Neotropical Entomology, 2020Vibrating bees are the main pollinators of the tomato plant (Solanum lycopersicum L.). Knowledge of other alternative food resources for these bees is fundamental for pollinator management actions in agricultural areas. The objective of this study was to evaluate the plants used as food resources for the main pollinators Bombus morio (Swederus) and ...

2020 3rd International Conference on Electron Device and Mechanical Engineering (ICEDME), 2020
In order to improve the energy utilization rate of hydraulic excavator, based on the analysis of the principle of flow regeneration structure of excavator, a flow regeneration characteristic test device based on the measured load spectrum is proposed. The test device adopts the loading mode of electric regulation relief valve, which can simulation the ...

Spectrum Load Smoothing for Cognitive Medium Access in Open Spectrum
2005 IEEE 16th International Symposium on Personal, Indoor and Mobile Radio Communications, 2006Today's framework for radio spectrum regulation and the way the usage of radio spectrum is coordinated, is undergoing vital changes. In the face of scarce radio resources, regulators, industry, and the research community are initiating promising approaches towards a more flexible spectrum usage, referred to as open spectrum.

Spectrum load smoothing for optimized spectrum utilization - rationale and algorithm
IEEE Wireless Communications and Networking Conference, 2005, 2005This paper aims at the mitigation of the destructive, mutual interference of coexisting, quality of service supporting wireless networks in a spectrum efficient way. The application of "waterfilling" from the information theory on the medium access of resource sharing wireless networks enables a decentralized coordinated, opportunistic usage of the ...

On life behavior under spectrum loading
Engineering Fracture Mechanics, 1983Abstract B- models are used to study life in cumulative damage under spectrum loading. The basic elements of scatter in sample cdf's, mean cdf, methods of testing and load interaction are delineated and examined in some detail. Application to one set of life data under spectrum loading is considered. Stationary and nonstationary B- models

Spectrum Loading and Crack Growth
Journal of Basic Engineering, 1972An analytical device for improving the accuracy of crack growth predictions in metal subjected to variable amplitude cyclic loading is presented. A modification to the linear cumulative growth idea is proposed which incorporates a consideration of prior load history by taking into account the yield zone ahead of the crack tip.

Spectrum sharing in heavy loaded networks
2012 15th International Telecommunications Network Strategy and Planning Symposium (NETWORKS), 2012Spectrum is one of the most precious radio resources that we have in communication networks, which should be utilized very efficiently. In this paper, we propose some admission control algorithms that activates users in the network, such that total sum rate of the network is maximized.

Fatigue Strength Under Spectrum Loading
2020In-service loading often is characterized by random variable amplitudes which cannot be represented by sinusoidal type of loading sufficiently. Rare events may introduce microplastic straining and are followed by a huge number of cycles with moderate to medium stresses.

Spectrum Loading Type Dynamic Spectrum Allocation Technique for Cognitive Radio Systems
2007 2nd International Conference on Cognitive Radio Oriented Wireless Networks and Communications, 2007This paper proposes a spectrum loading type dynamic spectrum control technique for broadband cognitive radio systems. In the proposed scheme, based on the detection of available spot-wise spectra, discrete spectrum components of a framed symbol sequence are mapped onto the spot-wise spectra.
