BOUNDARY CONTROL OF ROD TEMPERATURE FIELD WITH A SELECTED POINT
In this paper, we study the issue of boundary control of the temperature field of a rod with a selected point. The main purpose of the work is to clarify the conditions for the existence of a boundary control that ensures the transition of the ...

BVP for the heat equation with a fractional integro-differentiation operator
A boundary value problem for a loaded heat conduction equation is considered, when the loaded term has the form of a fractional Riemann-Liouville derivative with respect to a spatial variable, and the loading point moves with a variable velocity.

We identified a systemic, progressive loss of protein S‐glutathionylation—detected by nonreducing western blotting—alongside dysregulation of glutathione‐cycle enzymes in both neuronal and peripheral tissues of Taiwanese SMA mice. These alterations were partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotide therapy, revealing persistent redox imbalance as ...

In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

Inverse analysis of a loaded heat conduction equation
This work considers an inverse problem for a heat conduction equation that includes fractional loaded terms and coefficients varying with spatial coordinates. By reformulating the original equation into a system of equivalent loaded integro-differential equations, we establish sufficient conditions ensuring the existence and uniqueness of the solution.

Structural insights into an engineered feruloyl esterase with improved MHET degrading properties
A feruloyl esterase was engineered to mimic key features of MHETase, enhancing the degradation of PET oligomers. Structural and computational analysis reveal how a point mutation stabilizes the active site and reshapes the binding cleft, expading substrate scope.

Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

Sandwich structure panel subjected to thermal loading using fractional order equation of motion and moving heat source [PDF]
The present work studies the thermoelastic behaviour of a model for a layered thin plate called sandwich structure subjected to a thermal shock wave in light of the generalized thermoelasticity theory using fractional order equation of motion in the presence of a moving heat source. The governing equations are solved using Laplace transform. To obtain

Degradation mechanism of the von Willebrand factor A2 domain by nattokinase
Nattokinase, a natto‐derived protease, exhibits potent antithrombotic effects. This study demonstrates that nattokinase directly cleaves the von Willebrand factor (vWF) A2 domain in vitro. Unlike the native regulator ADAMTS13, nattokinase degrades folded vWF independently of shear stress.
