Theoretical Computer Science, 1991 AbstractWe introduce a refined version of observation for CCS which allows the observer to see the distributed nature of processes. Using several examples, we argue that a semantic theory based on such observations is not only intuitive but may also be of use when formalising the relationship between implementations and specifications.

Local derivations and local automorphisms
Journal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications, 2004 AbstractIn this paper, we show that if L is a completely distributive commutative subspace lattice or a J-subspace lattice, then the space of all bounded derivations of algL is reflexive. We also study when local automorphisms on some algebras are automorphisms.
