Eosinophilic Oesophagitis and Incidence of Gastrointestinal Cancer: A Population‐Based Cohort Study
Among 9115 patients with eosinophilic oesophagitis in Denmark, excess gastrointestinal cancer in the first year after diagnosis most likely reflected diagnostic work‐up. Allergen‐specific IgG4 mAbs were shown to block facilitated IgE binding to B cells and redirect allergens towards myeloid APC, leading to increased IL‐10 production in vitro. In combination with oral AIT, the mAbs inhibited mast cell activation and sustained allergen‐specific IgG4 levels in an in vivo model of peanut allergy. ABSTRACT Background Peanut

This study identified multiple areas for improvement in the regulatory risk assessment process. Conclusions based on predictive sensitization data should be made with caution, read‐across data from known sensitizers should be utilized, and epidemiological and patient threshold data should be prioritized in decision‐making.

Tissue Resident Memory Cells: Friend or Foe?
Tissue‐resident memory T cells (TRM cells) are specialised immune cells in barrier tissues like the lungs, skin and gut, providing rapid host defence and tumour surveillance. Their retention and differentiation are regulated by molecules such as CD69, CD103 and TGF‐β. Dysregulation of TRM cells can lead to chronic activation, driving conditions such as
