Mechanism of RNA‐Binding Protein ELAVL1 in Promoting Th2 Cell Differentiation Through Stabilizing CPA3 mRNA in Allergic Rhinitis

open access: yesThe Kaohsiung Journal of Medical Sciences, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This study aimed to elucidate the role of the RNA‐binding protein embryonic lethality abnormal vision‐like protein 1 (ELAVL1) in the pathogenesis of allergic rhinitis (AR), specifically by investigating its potential to promote T helper 2 (Th2) cell differentiation by regulating the stability of carboxypeptidase A3 (CPA3) mRNA.

Reference Equations for Peak Nasal Inspiratory and Expiratory Flow: A Cross‐Sectional Study

open access: yesThe Laryngoscope, EarlyView.
This study developed reference equations for peak nasal inspiratory flow (PNIF) and peak nasal expiratory flow (PNEF) in clinically healthy adults using sex, height, and weight. PNIF demonstrated lower residual variability and more stable model performance than PNEF, supporting its potential as a complementary tool for individualized interpretation of ...

Specific immunoglobulin E in nasal secretions for the diagnosis of local allergic rhinitis.

open access: yesRhinology, 2019
BACKGROUND The diagnostic value of serum specific Immunoglobulin E (sIgE) and nasal allergen provocation test (NAPT) has been well investigated in local allergic rhinitis (LAR). We hypothesized that nasal local sIgE could be used for the diagnosis of LAR
