Local asymptotic normality for progressively censored likelihood ratio statistics and applications

open access: yes, 1982
Let Xn,1 ≤ Xn,2 ≤ … ≤ Xn,n be the ordered variables corresponding to a random sample of size n with respect to a family of probability measures {Pθ:θ ∈ Θ} where Θ is an open subset of the real line.

Spreading quality improvement in bronchiolitis care: A qualitative study of barriers and facilitators to de‐implementation efforts across Alberta′s healthcare settings

open access: yesJournal of Hospital Medicine, EarlyView.
Abstract Background Low‐value care remains prevalent in bronchiolitis management despite evidence‐based guidelines. De‐implementation initiatives face unique challenges compared with traditional implementation efforts, particularly when spreading across diverse healthcare settings.

Identification and Estimation of Triangular Simultaneous Equations Models Without Additivity [PDF]

open access: yes
This paper investigates identification and inference in a nonparametric structural model with instrumental variables and non-additive errors. We allow for non-additive errors because the unobserved heterogeneity in marginal returns that often motivates ...

Comparative Evaluation of Four Stereotactic Radiosurgery Planning Approaches for Treatment of Posterior Choroidal Melanoma

open access: yesJournal of Medical Radiation Sciences, EarlyView.
This study evaluated four stereotactic radiosurgery planning approaches for posterior choroidal melanoma (CM). Analysis of thirteen CM cases resulted in a clinically meaningful reduction in dose to the brain for Brainlab Elements modulated arcs (BE) and Varian Eclipse HyperArc modulated arcs (HA) compared to Brainlab iPlan dynamic conformal arc therapy

Dirichlet–Kernel Methods for Geometric Conditional Quantiles: Bahadur Expansions and Boundary Adaptivity on the d-Simplex

open access: yesMathematics
This article develops a boundary-adaptive nonparametric methodology for estimating the geometric conditional quantiles of a multivariate response when the conditioning covariate is supported on the simplex—an important case, as it is the natural domain ...

Optically Bound Rapid Plasmonic Nanorod Dimers: Anisotropic Dynamics Driven by Light‐Fluidic Cooperation

open access: yesLaser &Photonics Reviews, EarlyView.
Optically confined gold nanorods exhibit cooperative light‐driven dynamics, forming mobile end‐to‐end dimers with orientation‐dependent propulsion. Using structured laser traps and an opto‐thermo‐hydrodynamic model, we uncover how optical binding, polarization‐induced torque, and near‐surface hydrodynamics govern their motion.

Advanced Statistical Learning: Limit Theorems for Nonparametric Conditional U-Statistics Smoothed by Asymmetric Kernels Under Missing-at-Random Sampling

open access: yesMathematics
This paper develops a boundary-sensitive asymptotic theory for nonparametric conditional U-statistics smoothed by support-adapted asymmetric kernels when the response variable is subject to Missing-at-Random observation.

Bayesian Optimization of Grayscale Patterns for Layer‐Height Accuracy in Projection Multi‐Photon 3D Printing

open access: yesLaser &Photonics Reviews, EarlyView.
Bayesian optimization combined with in situ quantitative phase imaging enables autonomous correction of layer‐height deviations in projection multi‐photon lithography. By jointly tuning model parameters and grayscale exposure settings, the method achieves more uniform and accurate layers within 300 prints, offering a fast, data‐efficient route to ...

LA CONDITION L.A.N (LOCAL ASYMPTOTIC NORMALITY

open access: yes, 2015
