Local Behavior Similarity

BMMDS/EMMSAD, 2012
Business process models explicitly capture an organization’s operations and thus are essential to a process oriented organization. Typically, hundreds or thousands of models are stored in business process repositories. Effective capabilities to manage and, in particular, search are required to leverage stored business process models.

Local behavior of Iwasawa’s invariants

International Journal of Number Theory, 2017
Let [Formula: see text] be a number field, let [Formula: see text] denote a fixed rational prime. We study the local behavior of Iwasawa’s invariants as functions on the set [Formula: see text] of all [Formula: see text]-extensions of [Formula: see text].

Local peers and corporate reporting behavior

Journal of Accounting and Public Policy, 2022
We find that firms exhibit greater earnings similarity when compared to industry peers in the same city, as the number of local peers increases. This is due to the potential adverse consequences of underperforming relative to local peers. As the number of local peers increases, there is increased local competition, which creates pressure to perform as ...

Theory of planned behavior and value-belief norm theory as antecedents of pro-environmental behaviour: Evidence from the local community

Journal of Human Behavior in The Social Environment, 2023
Native residents are indispensable participants in developing and conserving the natural environment. Specifying the factors that lead to responsible behavior among the local people can help increase sustainability. This paper aims to investigate the pro-

Local mode behavior in H2Te

The Journal of Chemical Physics, 2007
A high-resolution spectrum of hydrogen telluride (H2Te) was recorded in the 4050–7000cm−1 region. Two bands could be observed at 4900 and 5980cm−1 and were assigned as the (20±,1)←(00+,0) and (30±,0)←(00+,0) bands, respectively. Rotational transitions of the two bands were assigned for the most abundant H2Te130 and H2Te128 isotopic species.

Competitive Behavior in Local Physician Markets

Medical Care Research and Review, 1999
Competition often is viewed as a mechanism for controlling cost. Competition may work well in urban areas with many providers; competition may not exist in rural areas with few providers. The authors use the empirical framework developed by Bresnahan and Reiss to analyze the entry behavior of physicians into local markets to determine the level of ...
