We present a scalable EC/TC hybrid smart window using a DCPE that enables tunable solar modulation (ΔTsol:15–43%), fast electrochromic switching (<90 s), and strong thermal blocking (10–14°C reduction). HPMC improves thermal stability, while an optimized ISL enhances EC performance.

Integrating satellite and street-level images for local climate zone mapping
Timely and accurate local climate zone (LCZ) classification maps are valuable for urban climate studies. The integration of remote sensing and street-level images is promising to produce high-quality LCZ maps, since the former can efficiently capture the information of landscapes on a large-scale while the latter include ground-level details.

Laser‐assisted synthesis enables rapid (within 1 h) and high‐yield (≥90%) production of Co‐MOFs with mesoporous structures, tunable magnetic and optical properties, and efficient adsorption of N2, CH4, and CO2 for low‐energy gas separation. DFT calculations elucidate the electronic structure and adsorption behavior.
