Stability of Properties of Locales Under Groups [PDF]

open access: yesApplied Categorical Structures, 2016
Given a particular collection of categorical axioms, aimed at capturing properties of the category of locales, we show that if $\mathcal{C}$ is a category that satisfies the axioms then so too is the category $[ G, \mathcal{C}]$ of $G$-objects, for any internal group $G$. To achieve this we prove a general categorical result: if an object $S$ is double

Local Coefficients and Gamma Factors for Principal Series of Covering Groups [PDF]

open access: yesMemoirs of the American Mathematical Society, 2019
We consider an n n -fold Brylinski–Deligne cover of a reductive group over a p p -adic field. Since the space of Whittaker functionals of an irreducible genuine representation of such a cover is not one-dimensional, one can consider a ...

The Metric Dimension and Local Metric Dimension of Relative Prime Graph

open access: yesCauchy: Jurnal Matematika Murni dan Aplikasi, 2020
This study aims to determine the value of metric dimensions and local metric dimensions of relative prime graphs formed from modulo  integer rings, namely . As a vertex set is  and  if  and  are relatively prime.

Antinociceptive local effect of the combination of dexketoprofen trometamol and chlorhexidine gluconate in a formalin test: an additive effect

open access: yesBrazilian Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences, 2018
A drug delivery system (DDS) with analgesic and antibacterial properties would be desirable for the local control of post-operatory pain and the prevention for surgical site infection (SSI).

Mucoadhesive Marine Polysaccharides

open access: yesMarine Drugs, 2022
Mucoadhesive polymers are of growing interest in the field of drug delivery due to their ability to interact with the body’s mucosa and increase the effectiveness of the drug.

Localization properties of groups of eigenstates in chaotic systems [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review E, 2001
In this paper we study in detail the localized wave functions defined in Phys. Rev. Lett. {\bf 76}, 1613 (1994), in connection with the scarring effect of unstable periodic orbits in highly chaotic Hamiltonian system. These functions appear highly localized not only along periodic orbits but also on the associated manifolds.

The Complete Local Volume Groups Sample - II. A study of the Central Radio Galaxies in the High–Richness Sub-sample [PDF]

open access: yesMonthly notices of the Royal Astronomical Society, 2018
We present a study of the radio properties of the dominant early-type galaxies in 26 galaxy groups, the high-richness sub-sample of the Complete Local-volume Groups Sample (CLoGS).

The complete local volume groups sample – III. Characteristics of group central radio galaxies in the Local Universe [PDF]

open access: yesMonthly notices of the Royal Astronomical Society, 2019
Using new 610 and 235 MHz observations from the giant metrewave radio telescope (GMRT) in combination with archival GMRT and very large array (VLA) survey data, we present the radio properties of the dominant early-type galaxies in the low-richness ...

A dichotomy property for locally compact groups [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Functional Analysis, 2018
We extend to metrizable locally compact groups Rosenthal's theorem describing those Banach spaces containing no copy of $l_1$. For that purpose, we transfer to general locally compact groups the notion of interpolation ($I_0$) set, which was defined by Hartman and Ryll-Nardzewsky [25] for locally compact abelian groups.

Growth hormone effects on healing efficacy, bone resorption and renal morphology of rats: histological and histometric study in rat calvaria

open access: yesHeliyon, 2020
Previous reports demonstrated the utility of systemic application of growth hormone (GH) in the treatment of bone defects. Very few studies correlated bone repair efficacy with hepatic and renal side effects promoted by locally-delivered GH.
